As students gear up for their course assessment this year, Judy is really pleased to announce the dates for the Complete Media Makeup and Hair Course 2016-17.
Media Hair and Makeup Course Dates
The Complete Media Hair and Makeup Course consists of 3 modules.
Module 1 25th October 2016 through till 19th January 2017
Makeup making the best of the face using correction (face-graph, all vintages and present-day, bridal, big screen media, photographic, TV and stage)
Module 2 17th February 2017 through till 27th April 2017
Character work and special effects (progression of time, continuity, script changes and breaking down, life casting, prosthetics, etc)
Module 3 23rd May 2017 through till 10th August 2017
Further development of Modules 1 and 2 and hair creativity (modern and vintage styling, long hair up, wig blocking – cleaning & fitting, hair-cutting and barbering, etc)
Modules can also be taken as single units, and are ideal as refreshers for experienced makeup artists. Students can purchase a day or several days during the running of the Complete course. This is a great way to refresh already existing skills as a professional MUA.
MUA Student Assignments
2015/16 has been a great year with current MUA students having plenty of experience working on films, photographic shoots, with brides, graduations, and theater. We can’t wait to see the student’s photos of their work on assessment day this year (they’ll be added to the Gallery as soon as possible!)
